About the role
Average work schedule is 2-10:30pm every other weekend.
Responsibilities
- Decontaminate, and clean soiled patient medical devices according to prescribed procedures and aseptic techniques.
- Assist in picking up and collecting soiled patient equipment and bringing them to designated cleaning area following the designated procedures.
- Restock inventory and maintain par locations for patient medical equipment.
- Inspect, monitor, and verify that patient medical equipment is in good working condition; remove from service for repair and/or maintenance.
- Regularly attend work as an essential function of the job.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in hospital supply, preparing and distributing medical supplies and equipment.
Qualifications
- Ability to recognize and respond to emergent needs.
- Able to work independently.
- Organizational and prioritization setting skills.
- Must be able to work collaboratively with others.
- Outstanding customer service skills.
- Basic computer skills including excel and word.
