Patient Care Equipment Technician (FLEXI - EVENINGS/NIGHTS)

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Clean, disinfect, and prepare patient care equipment for use
• Inspect equipment for proper operation and report issues or damage
• Deliver and retrieve equipment between hospital departments and patient rooms
• Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment
• Maintain accurate records of equipment status and location
• Follow hospital infection control and safety procedures
• Respond promptly to equipment requests and urgent needs
• Aid with inventory organization and storage
• Communicate equipment issues to supervisors or biomedical staff

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• One year experience in a hospital or healthcare environment preferred
• Basic knowledge of medical equipment and safety practices
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Strong attention to detail and reliability with good communication and teamwork skills
