Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Clean, disinfect, and prepare patient care equipment for use
- Inspect equipment for proper operation and report issues or damage
- Deliver and retrieve equipment between hospital departments and patient rooms
- Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment
- Maintain accurate records of equipment status and location
- Follow hospital infection control and safety procedures
- Respond promptly to equipment requests and urgent needs
- Aid with inventory organization and storage
- Communicate equipment issues to supervisors or biomedical staff
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- One year experience in a hospital or healthcare environment preferred
- Basic knowledge of medical equipment and safety practices
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Strong attention to detail and reliability with good communication and teamwork skills
