UnityPoint Clinic Patient Document Technician
Location: Cedar Rapids, Iowa

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and compliant electronic health records by scanning, importing, routing, and documenting medical records according to established workflows
• Sort and process faxed documents, ensuring timely placement in the correct patient chart, clinic folder, or provider queue
• Cookordinate with clinic team members to deliver complete and accurate records for provider review and signature
• Apply comprehensive knowledge of medical documents, EHR workflows, and order release processes in compliance with UPC guidelines
• Ensure protection of patient health information by monitoring environmental and security conditions

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent required
• Experience: Preferred: Previous medical office experience
• Licenses/Certifications: None
