Patient Coordinator I - Part-Time

About the role

BJC Outpatient Imaging is seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic, compassionate individual who is a strong communicator to join an energetic, patient-focused team as a Patient Coordinator I. This is a part-time position (3 days per week) at our brand new outpatient imaging center located in Sunset Hills.

Schedule

Part-time: 3 days per week
Hours: 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Weekend Rotation: One half-day Saturday per month

The Business Office Team collaborates and leads the Imaging Center team in providing excellent patient care and supporting operational goals. Responsibilities include:

• Customer and patient-facing tasks such as welcoming, registering, and overall patient coordination
• Phone correspondence and scheduling appointments
• Inventory and medical record management
• Training, supervision, and management of Business Office team members (upper levels)

The scope of this role ensures the management and resources needed to maintain a quality, high-functioning, and customer-friendly Outpatient Imaging Center.

Requirements

Education

High school diploma or general education degree (GED).

Skills/Abilities

• Ability to work independently and multitask
• Ability to provide documentation accurately and concisely
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Knowledge of computer applications and Microsoft Office
