About the role
BayCare is seeking experienced patient care technicians to join our staffing resource office float team.
Responsibilities
- Floating to all hospitals/units in region 1 which includes St. Anthony's, Morton Plant, Mease Dunedin, Mease Countryside and Morton Plant NorthBay Hospitals.
- Notified approximately 2 hours prior to start of shift which hospital they are working at.
Requirements
- Basic Life Support from American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or Military Training Network certification.
- 6 months acute care experience or 1-year Skilled Nursing Facility experience; or completion of Nursing Fundamentals from a Nursing Program; or EMT certification / Paramedic license for ER only.
- Preferred 1 year - Hospital in related field.
Qualifications
- Required Education: High School or Equivalent.
- Technical: Patient Care Technician; Certified Nursing Assistant; Emergency Medical Technician; Licensed Practical Nurse.
- Preferred: EMT (Emergency); LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse).
