Clinical Nurse II - PCU Full Time Core Float Days SRO

About the Role

Independently caring for a group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards. Delegating appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team. Professional accountability and development. Performing the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned.

Qualifications

• Certifications and Licensures:
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification is required
  • RN (Registered Nurse) license is required
  • Nursing Specialty Certification is preferred
• Education:
  • Associates degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma is required
  • Bachelors degree in Nursing is preferred
• Experience:
  • 2 years of PCU RN experience in acute care
• Specific Skills:
  • Interpersonal skills
  • Critical thinking skills
  • Clinical skills appropriate to position

Schedule

• Status: Full Time, Exempt: No (3x12 hour shifts per week)
• Shift Hours: 6:45AM - 7:15PM
• On Call: No
• Weekend Work: Every 3rd weekend to include 2 Sunday shifts in 6-week schedule
• How often will this team member be working remotely? Never

Location

Float between a region of hospitals.

• Region 1 includes St Anthony's, Morton Plant, Mease Dunedin, Mease Countryside and Morton Plant Northbay
• Region 2 includes BayCare Wesley Chapel, St Joseph's, St Joseph's North and St Joseph's South
• Region 3 includes Bartow Regional Medical Center, South Florida Baptist, Winter Haven Hospitals
