About the role
BayCare is seeking experienced patient care technicians to join their staffing resource office float team.
Responsibilities
- Floating to multiple hospitals/units in region 3 which includes Bartow Regional Medical Center, South Florida Baptist Hospital and Winter Haven Hospital.
- PRN requires 4 shifts in a 6-week schedule to include 2 weekend shifts.
- Holiday commitment: 1 summer and 1 winter holiday, and 1 hard to fill staffing shift.
Qualifications
- Certification includes Basic Life Support from American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or Military Training Network.
- Minimum requirements include 6 months acute care experience or 1-year Skilled Nursing Facility experience; or completion of Nursing Fundamentals from a Nursing Program; or EMT certification / Paramedic license for ER only.
- Preferred 1 year - Hospital in related field.
Requirements
- Required Minimum Qualifications: Certification includes Basic Life Support from American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or Military Training Network.
- Required Technical - Patient Care Technician; or - Technical - Certified Nursing Assistant; or - Technical - Emergency Medical Technician; or - Technical - Licensed Practical Nurse.
