Patient Care Technician - Physical Therapy

About the role

This is a part to full-time position at our MOSH Hales Corners location, ideal for a student seeking healthcare experience. Under the close supervision of a Physical Therapist, Technicians assist with patient care and related needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Physical Therapist with patient care
• Perform light clerical duties, including:
  • Scheduling appointments
  • Collecting co-pays
  • Scanning and new patient registration
  • Maintaining overall clinic cleanliness
  • Preparing treatment areas

Skills and Qualifications

• Ability to communicate well verbally and in writing
• Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
• Positive attitude and team-player mentality
• Ability to work with diverse groups of people
• Strong multi-tasking and prioritization skills
• Ability to maintain pleasant and professional relationships with patients
