Patient Care Technician (PCT) - Telemetry

About the role

Be the heart of compassionate care in a patient care support role with us! In this vital role, you'll provide essential assistance and comfort to patients, ensuring they receive the best possible experience during their healthcare journey. You will perform a number of clerical duties while assisting licensed staff by providing direct patient care when required.

This is a full-time, day-shift position with holiday rotation in the Telemetry department.

Responsibilities

• Enter patient information, physician orders, and other critical data into appropriate systems.
• Facilitate communication between members of the healthcare team.
• Deliver safe patient care by bathing patients, taking vital signs, and assisting them with daily functions.
• Perform EKGs as directed and document information per departmental policy.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Certified Nursing Assistant certification required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Pay

$25.00 hourly. Individual wages are determined based upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications and experience.
