Patient Care Technician (PCT) | Surgical Trauma

Responsibilities

• Provide routine patient care including ambulation, bathing, positioning, feeding, and responding to patient needs;
• assist with patient mobility, specimen collection, and transport;
• answer calls, manage patient inquiries, and relay messages;
• coordinate diagnostic and therapeutic appointments;
• requisition supplies and equipment;
• perform clerical duties related to patient admission, discharge, and transfers;
• maintain patient rooms and handle patient valuables.

Qualifications & Skills

• High School diploma or GED;
• Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certification preferred;
• ability to work flexible hours;
• effective communication, visual acuity, and hearing skills;
• team-oriented with a commitment to compassionate care;
• adherence to safety standards and confidentiality.
