Patient Care Technician (PCT) - PRN Days | Pittsburgh Specialty

About the role

The Patient Care Technician (PCT) performs various patient care activities and accommodative services under the supervision of a Registered or Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse, following PAM Health policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient care activities within the limits of the position.
• Do not administer medications or therapy.
• Do not assume independent responsibility for patient care.
• Accomplish duties consistent with PAM Health policies, procedures, and guidelines.

Requirements

• Minimum of two (2) to three (3) years of experience in an acute hospital, rehabilitation hospital, or skilled nursing unit preferred.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Current BLS certification required.
