About the Role
We are seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to provide essential support in an inpatient rehabilitation setting.
Responsibilities
- Assisting with patient care tasks under the supervision of a Registered Nurse
- Transporting patients and aiding in mobility using stretchers and wheelchairs
- Performing services such as dressing, bathing, feeding, and repositioning
- Responding promptly to patient needs and participating in hourly rounds
- Completing documentation of care provided and performing additional duties as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Hospital experience as a PCT, nursing assistant, or related field, or active nursing student status
- Certification in BLS or completion within 90 days of employment
