Patient Care Technician (PCT, PCA, CNA)
Location: 435 Lewis Avenue, Midstate Medical Center (10123). Multiple shifts available: full time, part time, and per diem. Shifts include days, evenings, and nights across Ortho, Surgical/Oncology, Medical Telemetry/Stroke, ICU/PCU, and Observation Units.
About the Role
Under the direction of a Registered Nurse, Patient Care Technicians provide top-quality care through a variety of multi-skilled services including patient care, clinical, and administrative support. This role operates in a high-activity work environment with multiple priorities and requires flexibility in scheduling. Patient Care Technicians work 12-hour shifts.

Responsibilities
- Provide patient care and clinical support under the direction of a Registered Nurse.
- Perform multi-skilled services including administrative tasks.
- Work in a high-activity environment with multiple priorities.
Qualifications
- No experience required; on-site training provided.
- Successful completion of PCT-specific HHC orientation.
- Certified BLS Provider credential from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 2 months (60 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Some relevant experience in an acute care hospital environment.
- Current certified BLS Provider credential from the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Certification as a C-PCT/A, EMT, or CMA to be eligible for advancement in the PCT clinical ladder.
