Patient Care Technician (PCT/PCA)

Responsibilities

• Obtaining patient vital signs
• Performing blood specimen testing
• Preparing specimens for pick-up
• Collecting medical data for patient health history

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED/TASC required
• Current PCT/PCA certification required
• Training in EKG and phlebotomy required
• Current BCLS/CPR highly desirable
• Bilingual is a plus

Schedule

• All positions are in hospitals and nursing homes
• These facilities are open 24 hours/7 days each week
• General shift availability: Days (7a-3p or 8a-4p), Evenings (3p-11p or 4p-12a), Nights (11p-7a or 12a-8a)
• Every other weekend is usually required for all positions
