Patient Care Technician PCT - Inpatient (Full Time)

Responsibilities

• Affords assistance to patients with ADLs, feeding, grooming, mobility, and other tasks.
• Maintains vigilance over patients' health through monitoring vital signs, glucose levels, conducting safety rounds, and reporting findings to supervisors, case managers, or nurses.
• Accurately documents patient status, including any changes, to maintain an accurate medical record.
• Adheres to infection control protocols.
• Supports the team in maintaining adequate supplies and ensuring patient rooms and work areas are clean and safe.
• Responds promptly to patient calls and handles paperwork for the medical team.

Qualifications

• BLS certification within 180 days of employment.
• Fluent in English, writes, reads, and comprehends the language.
• Basic computer skills necessary for performing the functions of the position.
