About the role
Full-time, day shift position on the Medical Surgical Unit, supporting professional nurses and delivering compassionate patient care.
Responsibilities
- Assist professional nurses with delegated nursing tasks
- Provide direct patient care and support admissions and discharges
- Ensure patient safety and observe patients’ physical, mental, and emotional conditions
- Report any changes in patient condition to nursing staff
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Acceptable training or certification such as CNA, NCPCT, or related programs
- Current AHA BLS certification within 90 days of hire preferred
- One year of healthcare experience preferred
