Fresenius Medical Care is seeking Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) to support and collaborate with Registered Nurses (RNs) in providing dialysis treatment to several patients at a time. This role involves prepping and testing equipment, reviewing treatment sheets, and opening clinics early in the morning.
Job Description
Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) support the mission of improving the quality of life for patients by managing vascular access, administering heparin, and monitoring patients during dialysis sessions. They also educate patients on dialysis-related topics and ensure a safe and clean environment.
Success Profile
Successful candidates should have prior customer service, healthcare, and direct patient care experience. They should also be passionate about building deep relationships with patients and improving their quality of life. Comprehensive on-the-job training is provided.
