Overview

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) to support and collaborate with Registered Nurses (RNs) in providing dialysis treatment to several patients at a time. This role involves prepping and testing equipment, reviewing treatment sheets, and opening clinics early in the morning.

Job Description

Patient Care Technicians at Fresenius Medical Care support the dialysis health care team by assisting with patient-specific education, evaluating vascular access, performing cannulation, and initiating dialysis treatments. They also monitor patients' responses to dialysis therapy, document vital signs, and ensure proper safety measures are in place.

Success Profile

Successful candidates should have prior customer service, healthcare, and direct patient care experience. They must be passionate about developing deep relationships with patients and improving their quality of life. Prior dialysis nursing experience is helpful but not mandatory.
