PATIENT CARE TECHNICIAN - MED SURG & PEDS

Job Summary

To work with the RN Partner to provide basic care to the Medical Surgical patient.

Education

• High school diploma or GED required.

Certification/Licensure

• C.N.A - State Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Experience

• 0-6 months related experience required.

Other Requirements

• Maintains unit-specific and hospital competencies, mandatory learning, and any clinical certifications required in accordance with the Staff Education and Training policy GA-057 and/or any other department requirements.
• Successful completion of Phlebotomy training, EKG training.
• Successful completion of Patient Care Technician Orientation.
• Maintain unit specific and hospital competencies in accordance with policy requirements.
