PATIENT CARE TECHNICIAN - LEVEL 3

About the Role

To work with the RN Partner to provide basic care to the Medical Surgical patient.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Current C.N.A. certification (State)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• 0–6 months of related experience

Responsibilities

• Maintain unit-specific and hospital competencies, mandatory learning, and any clinical certifications required in accordance with the Staff Education and Training policy GA-057 and/or any other department requirements
• Successfully complete Phlebotomy training and EKG training
• Successfully complete Patient Care Technician Orientation
