About the role

The role involves being the primary facilitator of ADLs, collecting vital signs, conducting point of care testing, turning and repositioning patients, performing equipment checks and exchanges, dressing care, removing Foley Catheters and Peripheral IVs, nasogastric tube removal and performing nasal swabs, checking code carts and oxygen storage cabinets, and assisting with admissions, transfers, discharges, and deaths.

Responsibilities

  • Being the primary facilitator of ADLs: hygiene, toileting, mobility, meals
  • Collecting vital signs & daily weights
  • Conducting Point of Care testing
  • Turning & repositioning patients
  • Performing equipment checks & exchanges
  • Dressing care
  • Removing Foley Catheter and Peripheral IV
  • Nasogastric tube removal and performing nasal swabs
  • Checking code carts and oxygen storage cabinets
  • Assisting with admissions, transfers, discharges, and deaths
  • Transcribing and processing orders
  • Coordinating transportation of patients to multiple tests
  • Supporting staff with 5 min Drills and/or Quality Rounds

Requirements

No experience needed. Comprehensive on-the-job training provided.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED)

Pay

$18.94 minimum hiring rate with increased rates for experienced individuals and up to $3 shift differentials for evening, nights, and weekend shifts!

Schedule

Three 12-hour Night (7:00pm - 7:30am) shifts including every other weekend and holiday.
