- Comfort, safety and emergency measures
- Activities of daily living
- Personal care needs
- Nutrition and fluid needs
- Elimination needs
- Measures vitals signs
- Performs ECGs
- Venipuncture
- IV placement
- Capillary blood glucose testing
- Unit Secretary duties
- Patient Transport duties
- Environment of Care duties
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Successful completion of Nurses Aide or Medical Assistant Training and Competency Evaluation program
- EMT training program or Nursing student with satisfactory completion of Nursing 101 clinical or equivalent clinical rotation
