About the role

The Patient Care Technician position at Sentara RMH Medical Center offers the opportunity to support the admission/discharge process, change, bathe, and ambulate patients. Duties include drawing blood, Foley catheter care, and meeting patient needs under the direct supervision of a nurse.

Requirements

• No specific certification or licensure required
• Experience as a Certified Nurse Aide or relevant experience preferred
• Enrollment in a nursing program may be considered in lieu of experience

• Physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 pounds
