Patient Care Technician
Responsibilities
- Aid clients and staff with team needs throughout the facility.
- Address the treatment process within organizational guidelines, philosophies, policies and procedures.
- Review patient/client activities and report observations to staff.
- Ensure compliance with fire and safety regulations.
- Provide clerical support to the treatment team, manage medication services, and schedule patients.
- Support recovery activities of patients/clients and report observations to appropriate staff.
- Assist patients/clients from admission through discharge as a member of the treatment team.
- Ensure the site/building adheres to safety regulations including fire and guest/visitor expectations.
- Accompany residents/patients/clients to scheduled appointments, meetings, and other activities as required.
- Manage funds within program guidelines.
- Perform toxicology screenings as required.
- Support resident/patient/client vocational goals.
- Support Peer-run programming and provide education-based lectures as required.
- Assist the medical department as needed to monitor and maintain patient/client medications.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Must be 18+ years of age.
- Current CPR certification or obtain within 30 days.
- Certification must be from American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
- Satisfactory completion of a state/license specific background check.
- Current Driver’s License in good standing.
- Valid insurance that does not show major motor vehicle violations within the past 3 years.
- Valid insurance that does not show capital violations within the last 5 years.
- Favorable Drivers Health Screen preferred.
- Current self-administration of Medication Certification or obtain within 60 days (if required).
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Previous experience working in the addiction treatment industry preferred.
- Experience with Microsoft Office and Outlook preferred.
- Two or more years’ experience understanding the Twelve Step Process/Program preferred.

Pay
Salary range: USD $20.00 - USD $28.36 /Hr.
