Patient Care Technician

About the role

DSD Services teammates will have access to all the capabilities and resources DaVita has to offer. The CCHT must be willing to support other DaVita SNF Dialysis dens if needed. The local DaVita SNF dens are located at Plaza in Scottsdale, Sky Harbor in Phoenix, Resolve in Phoenix and Palm Valley in Goodyear. We are also on-site at Haven in Tucson.

Responsibilities

• Spend the majority of your day in direct one-on-one patient care to provide safe, comfortable and hygienic dialysis treatment.
• Work in conjunction with dialysis RNs to provide dialysis care.
• Provide comprehensive patient care in an independent setting.
• Plan to be on your toes at all times. Monitor patients before, during and after dialysis treatment including measuring and recording stats, patient observations, and hemodialysis machine setup.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• MUST BE CCHT certified.
• Basic computer skills and proficiency in MS Word and Outlook.

Qualifications

• No On Call Dialysis Experience Required.
• Must have a Current CCHT.

Skills

Training/Teaching/Healthcare Education background is a nice-to-have.
