About the role
As a Patient Care Technician (PCT), you will support patients with end-stage renal disease in an outpatient dialysis clinic. Your responsibilities include delivering safe, hygienic, and compassionate dialysis care, monitoring patients before, during, and after treatment, setting up and maintaining dialysis equipment, recording vital signs and patient data, educating patients on treatment and kidney health, and collaborating with nurses, dietitians, social workers, and other care team members.Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, hygienic, and compassionate dialysis care
- Maintain patient safety and comfort
- Monitor patients before, during, and after treatment
- Set up and maintain dialysis equipment
- Record vital signs and patient data accurately
- Educate patients on treatment and kidney health
- Collaborate with nurses, dietitians, social workers, and other care team members
Requirements
- Accredited High School diploma, general education development (“GED”) credential, or equivalent
- Comfortable around blood, needles, and medical equipment
- Physically able to work long shifts on your feet
- Willing to float between local clinics if needed
- Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Preferred: CNA, MA, CHT, phlebotomy certification, or healthcare experience
Qualifications
- Must be flexible and able to work rotating shifts
- May be required to cover shifts at other clinics
- Schedule restrictions cannot be accommodated
- Work schedules are always provided in advance to support work-life balance
Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office)

Pay
