About the role
DaVita is hiring a Float Patient Care Technician (PCT) to support patients with end-stage renal disease at multiple outpatient dialysis clinics in the region. As a PCT, you'll provide direct, hands-on care under RN supervision, helping patients through life-sustaining dialysis treatment.
Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, hygienic, and compassionate dialysis care
- Monitor patients before, during, and after treatment
- Set up and maintain dialysis equipment
- Record vital signs and patient data
- Educate patients on treatment and kidney health
- Collaborate with nurses, dietitians, social workers, and other care team members
Requirements
- Accredited High School diploma, general education development ("GED") credential, or equivalent
- Comfortable around blood, needles, and medical equipment
- Physically able to work long shifts on your feet
- Willing to float between local clinics if needed
- Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Preferred: CNA, MA, CHT, phlebotomy certification, or healthcare experience

Pay
- Wage range: $19.50 - $30.50/hour
- Patient Care Technician ICHD Float Resident: $20.00 - $21.00/hour
- Washington Exempt: $80,168.40/year
- Washington Non-exempt: Bellingham $19.13/hour, Burien $21.71/hour, Everett $20.77/hour, Unincorporated King County $20.82/hour, Renton $21.57/hour, Seattle $21.30/hour, Tukwila $21.65/hour, Remainder of Washington state $17.13/hour
Schedule
Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. This position requires floating between local clinics as needed.
