Patient Care Technician

About the role

As a Patient Care Technician (PCT), you'll support patients with end-stage renal disease in an outpatient dialysis clinic. Your responsibilities include delivering safe, hygienic, and compassionate dialysis care, monitoring patients before, during, and after treatment, setting up and maintaining dialysis equipment, recording vital signs and patient data, and collaborating with nurses, dietitians, social workers, and other care team members.

Requirements

• Accredited High School diploma, general education development (“GED”) credential, or equivalent
• Comfortable around blood, needles, and medical equipment
• Physically able to work long shifts on your feet
• Willing to float between local clinics if needed
• Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Preferred: CNA, MA, CHT, phlebotomy certification, or healthcare experience

Schedule

Open availability is required Monday - Saturday from 4:00 AM to 7:00 PM (sometimes later depending on patient needs). Teame mates typically work three to four 12- to 13-hour shifts/week.
