Patient Care Technician
Key Responsibilities
- Aid in training patients and caregivers on PD procedures
- Support the clinical team with patient monitoring, documentation, and equipment preparation
- Conduct home supply inventory and assist with delivery arrangements
- Maintain vigilance over vital signs and collect lab specimens as necessary
- Ensure equipment compliance with safety protocols
- Collaborate with nurses, dietitians, and social workers
Requirements
- Accredited High School diploma, GED credential, or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and insurance
- Comfortable handling medical supplies, blood, and needles
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Physical stamina for long shifts and on-your-feet work
- Healthcare experience (CNA, MA, CHT, phlebotomy) preferred
