Patient Care Technician

About the role

The primary work location is on site at DaVita SNF Dialysis at Spectrum located at 750 Fuller Ave Ne, Grand Rapids, MI, 49503. The CCHT may be asked to support other DaVita SNF dialysis den locations.

Responsibilities

• Spend the majority of your day in direct one-on-one patient care to provide safe, comfortable and hygienic dialysis treatment.
• Work in conjunction with dialysis RNs to provide dialysis care.
• Meet and/or exceed clinical outcomes.
• Multitask to meet the needs of the service, the patients and our SNF partners.
• Use your mind constantly to monitor patients before, during and after dialysis treatment including measuring and recording stats, patient observations, and hemodialysis machine setup.
• Provide comprehensive patient care in an independent setting.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• MUST BE CCHT certified.
• Basic computer skills and proficiency in MS Word and Outlook.
