Training Schedule

PCT will complete paid training over the first 3 months at Kolff Dialysis working approximately 36 hours/week.

Schedule Overview

Post-training we are looking to hire a PCT to work 3 days/week for a total of 30-32 hours. Shifts are generally 10-11 hours long. More hours are available if willing to float to other nearby clinics. Scheduled days rotate between Monday-Saturday. Incoming PCT will work a mix of opening and closing shifts, which can begin as early as 5am if opening, and end as late as 4:30pm if closing.

Support Staff

You will work alongside 1-2 nurses and 2 other PCTs on the floor.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, hygienic, and compassionate dialysis care
• Maintain a sterile environment
• Monitor patients before, during, and after treatment
• Set up and maintain dialysis equipment
• Record vital signs and patient data
• Educate patients on treatment and kidney health
• Collaborate with nurses, dietitians, social workers, and other care team members

Requirements

• Accredited High School diploma, general education development (“GED”) credential, or equivalent
• Comfortable around blood, needles, and medical equipment
• Physically able to work long shifts on your feet
• Willing to float between local clinics if needed
• Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Preferred: CNA, MA, CHT, phlebotomy certification, or healthcare experience

About the Role

DaVita is hiring a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to support patients with end-stage renal disease in an outpatient dialysis clinic. As a PCT, you’ll provide direct, hands-on care under RN supervision, helping patients through life-sustaining dialysis treatment.
