Patient Care Technician

About the role

A Patient Care Technician (PCT) supports patients with end-stage renal disease in an outpatient dialysis clinic. The primary responsibility is to deliver safe, hygienic, and compassionate dialysis care under RN supervision.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, hygienic, and compassionate dialysis care
• Monitor patients before, during, and after treatment
• Set up and maintain dialysis equipment
• Record vital signs and patient data
• Provide education on treatment and kidney health
• Collaborate with nurses, dietitians, social workers, and other care team members

Requirements

• Accredited High School diploma, GED credential, or equivalent
• Comfortable around blood, needles, and medical equipment
• Physically able to work long shifts on your feet
• Willing to float between local clinics if needed
• Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Preferred: CNA, MA, CHT, phlebotomy certification, or healthcare experience

Pay

The Wage Range for the role is $19.50 - $29.50/hour. Patient Care Technician ICHD Resident: $19.50 - $20.75/hour.
