This unit specializes in the step-down level of care for non-traumatic brain injuries and other conditions such as Ischemic and Hemorrhagic Stroke, Seizure Disorders, Brain Tumor/Cancer, and Neuromuscular Conditions. This unit also includes the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit.

Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- If working in a critical access facility, a Certified Nursing Assistant is required
- Effective interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills required
- Must successfully complete orientation and competency validation for position

Basic nursing care, technical skills, clerical services, documentation, patient care, teamwork, communication, interpersonal skills, regulatory compliance, phlebotomy, wound care, and sterile dressing changes (as applicable)

Schedule
Three 12-hour NIGHT Shifts each week with every other weekend and rotating holiday requirements
