Job Summary
The Patient Care Technician handles various duties under a licensed nurse's supervision. Helps deliver patient care and meet family needs. Follows the care plan, considering the patient's age and development stage.
What can you expect to do as a Patient Care Tech?
- Collections and records patient data, including vital signs.
- Aids patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, toileting, and transferring.
- Responds to call lights and conducts regular patient rounds.
- Provides personal hygiene care and assists with patient clean-up.
- Adheres to Baylor Scott & White policies and procedures.
- Performs glucose monitoring and collects specimens as requested.
- Will be required to directly support multiple patients during each shift.

Qualifications
- Education: H.S. Diploma/GED Equivalent
- Experience: Less than 1 Year of Experience
- Certification/License/Registration: Basic Life Support (BLS): BLS or BLS within 30 days of hire or transfer.
