Join our team as a night shift, full-time Emergency Room (ER) Patient Care Tech (PCT) in Tulsa, OK. Thrive in a people-first environment and help make healthcare better.

Hillcrest Medical Center is a 656-bed hospital that includes The Alexander Burn Center, The Peggy V. Helmerich Women’s Health Center, Kaiser Rehabilitation Center, the latest technology for the treatment of cancer, and the Oklahoma Heart Institute.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, eating, and other activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Observe patients’ progress and prepare reports for Registered Nurses or other medical staff.
• Obtain and record patients' vital signs and collect specimens for lab tests.
• Provide basic patient transport and housekeeping duties.
• Measure and record patients' intake and output and other measurements in accordance with unit routines.
• Assist patients with range of motion.
• Draw blood.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• Competent to perform in at least two general areas of practice (cross-trained and cross-competent to cover more than one hospital service, role, or function).

Qualifications (Preferred)

• Two (2) years of experience in acute or long-term care.
• Demonstrated proficiency in phlebotomy.
• Completion of approved CNA, PCT, or paramedic certification or currently enrolled in nursing school.
