About BSA Hospital

BSA Hospital is a 445‑bed facility serving the Amarillo area for over 120 years and is the region’s preferred healthcare provider. The organization focuses on delivering quality health care in Christian love, service, and dignity.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic patient care under nursing supervision in an entry‑level position.
• Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, eating, and other ADLs.
• Observe patients’ progress and prepare/disseminate reports to the nurse.
• Obtain and record patients' vital signs and collect specimens for lab tests.

Qualifications

• Required:
  • Some high school education completed.
  • BLS certification obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• Preferred:
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalency.
  • Completion of High School PCT competencies.
  • Certification as a PCT (Certified Care Technician) or CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant).
