PATIENT CARE TECH Detox Unit, Full Time Nights-Reno

Summary

This CNA opportunity is full time at 36 hours per week, offers full benefits and a convenient night shift schedule. We are looking for a dynamic CNA to provide safe, competent nursing assistant care for our patients. You will also provide professional support to the healthcare team.

Job Responsibilities/Duties

• Completes Bedside shift report in the room at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Ensures patient is provided with the names and contact numbers for members of the care team on the communication board every shift.
• Mets with Supervising RN at the beginning of each shift to receive delegation of tasks.
• Involves the patient and family psychosocial, spiritual, emotional, population specific, and diversity needs in care.
• Follows facility policies and procedures to promote patient safety (i.e. safe environment, equipment safety practices, radiation safety, fire prevention, etc.).
• Adheres to fall precautions by performing/assisting patients with toileting/ADL care and never leaving the patient alone. If assistance is needed, CNA is able to ask/call or help while remaining with the patient.
