Patient Care Tech - Cardiac Telemetry, PT

Overview

Piedmont Fayette Hospital is seeking a Patient Care Tech for their Cardiac Telemetry department. This part-time position runs from 7a-7p, with weekend and holiday availability required. A $1,250 sign-on bonus is available.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients from birth through the lifecycle, demonstrating competency with treatments, procedures, and equipment appropriate to the clinical setting and hospital policy.
• Collaborate with licensed nursing staff to provide direct care to a diverse patient population.
• Perform key aspects of patient care including helping patients with bathing, feeding, and other necessary activities of daily living.

Qualifications

• Previous experience caring for patients in a hospital setting.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required (from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross).
• Nursing Assistant or Patient Care Technician certification preferred.
