Overview
Piedmont Fayette Hospital is seeking a Patient Care Tech for their Cardiac Telemetry unit. This position is full-time during the day shift (7a-7p), with weekend and holiday availability required. A sign-on bonus of up to $2,500 is available.
Responsibilities
- Provide care to patients from birth through the lifecycle, demonstrating competency with treatments, procedures, and equipment appropriate to the clinical setting and hospital policy.
- Care for patients in various aspects of their care, including assisting with bathing, feeding, and other necessary activities of daily living.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience caring for patients in a hospital setting.
- American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Nursing Assistant or Patient Care Technician certification preferred.
