Patient Care Supervisor (RN required) - Progressive Transitional Care Unit (PTCU) - night shift

About the role

Mcleod Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team. This position will be responsible for assessing patient needs, providing nursing interventions, supporting hourly rounds, ensuring compliance with unit standards, and fostering a respectful work environment.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patient needs based on collected data
• Provides appropriate nursing interventions consistent with the Plan of Care and standards of practice
• Serves as a support during hourly rounds
• Ensures compliance with unit standards, policies, and standards of care
• Manages employee-related complaints and issues to maintain a positive work environment
• Fosters a caring, compassionate, and respectful environment for all patients, families, and visitors

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited registered nursing program
• Valid South Carolina or compact RN license
• Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support certifications
• Additional certifications may be required based on unit requirements

• Competent in managing employee-related complaints and issues
• Demonstrates commitment to professional growth through setting goals and participating in educational offerings

Schedule

This position is full-time, working 72 hours biweekly, with night shifts from 7:00pm to 7:00am, as scheduled.
