Role Overview
Provides clinical and operational leadership for outpatient oncology services, including Pediatric Hematology/Oncology, Adult Oncology Infusion, Apheresis, Bone Marrow Transplant Day Hospital, Breast Center, and specialty clinics.
Responsibilities
- Collaborates with physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure exceptional patient-centered care.
- Oversees staffing, workflow, quality, safety, patient experience, program development, regulatory compliance, and performance improvement.
- Drives initiatives promoting evidence-based practice, operational efficiency, and high-quality outcomes, fostering a culture of accountability, engagement, and professional growth.
Key Duties
- Lead complex outpatient oncology programs, manage change, optimize care delivery, and enhance patient experience in a fast-paced academic setting.
- Collaborate across teams to advance nursing excellence and outpatient cancer care.
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum of 3 years RN experience with BSN and current RN license
- Master's Degree in Nursing or related field
- Oncology certification (preferred) and management experience (preferred)
- Strong communication and business acumen
