Patient Care Director – Mother- Baby and Pediatrics - Days

About the Role

At NYP Westchester, we pride ourselves in providing outstanding, compassionate, personalized care to birthing people, newborns, children, and their families. The Mother-Baby unit has 16 private patient rooms and the Pediatric unit consists of 6 private patient rooms.

As a Patient Care Director, you will manage all aspects of care for Mother-Baby and Pediatrics, including fiscal, operational, and clinical quality. Foster autonomy and patient focus while inspiring nurses and support staff to achieve their highest potential. Work closely with award-winning nursing professionals and board-certified physicians to create a premier environment. You will regularly gather staff perspectives through town hall gatherings, huddles, rounds, and meetings.

This is a full-time day shift position at NewYork-Presbyterian Westchester Hospital, located in Bronxville, NY, right across from the Metro North Station.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of obstetrical care delivery and pediatrics.
• Oversee fiscal, operational, and clinical quality for the Mother-Baby and Pediatric units.
• Foster a culture of autonomy, patient focus, and independent thinking.
• Inspire and guide nursing and support staff to achieve professional growth.
• Collaborate with nursing professionals and physicians to maintain a premier care environment.
• Gather staff perspectives through town halls, huddles, rounds, and meetings.

Requirements

• BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing).
• Master’s Degree in Nursing or related field if already holding a BSN. If currently pursuing a Master’s Degree, must obtain within 1 year of hire.
• Either bachelor’s or graduate degree must be in nursing.
• A minimum of 3 years of clinical experience.
• NYS RN License.
• Demonstrated leadership skills/experience.
• Must live within a commutable distance to NYP (on-site presence required).

Pay

Salary Range: $170,000 - $217,000/Annual.
