Patient Care Coordinator - Front Office

About the role

Doctors of Physical Therapy is seeking a full-time Patient Care Coordinator for our Stratford clinic. The ideal candidate will be seeking longevity with a growing company, be a self-starter, and possess excellent interpersonal and customer service skills to build relationships with patients and the community, providing a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients
• Effectively communicate with patients, families, team members, clinicians, and all departments
• Provide detailed instructions to patients for their visits
• Review and evaluate patient charts for data entry accuracy
• Work as a team to ensure an efficient working environment, including timely calls to patients and referral sources
• Familiarity with outpatient rehabilitation/medical services and medical terminology
• Answer phones
• Patient registration and data entry
• Scanning, faxing, and other clerical duties
• Collect copays and patient balances
• Patient scheduling and schedule management
• Patient care assistance as needed

Requirements

• Strong organizational skills
• Knowledge of insurance benefits
• Must be available to work Monday through Friday and potentially a few very early evenings
