Patient Care Coordinator (Front Desk / Medical Reception)

This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, personable, dependable, and comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced healthcare environment. We are looking for someone who can help create an exceptional patient experience while keeping front desk operations running smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming phone calls and assist new and existing patients
• Schedule evaluations and follow-up appointments
• Verify insurance benefits and explain patient coverage/responsibility
• Collect co-pays, balances, and patient paperwork
• Manage patient communication via phone, text, and email
• Absorb patient intake and onboarding
• Maintain organized front desk and clinic workflow
• Cookordinate schedules with providers and staff
• Help reduce cancellations and improve schedule efficiency
• Support daily clinic operations and administrative tasks

Preferred Experience

• Medical front desk, dental, PT, chiropractic, med spa, or healthcare office experience preferred
• Experience with scheduling and customer service
• Comfortable discussing payments and collecting balances
• Strong communication and multitasking skills
• Able to stay organized and professional under pressure
• Experience with EMR/EHR systems is a plus
