About the role

An immediate opening for a Patient Care Coordinator at Shady Grove Fertility in Columbia, Maryland. This role offers growth within a nationally respected organization while remaining closely connected to the patients and teams you support daily.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Pay

$22 to $25 per hour

Responsibilities

• Assist with the clinical care of fertility patients
• Provide patient/couple counseling, procedure teaching, and communicate physician orders and instructions
• Provide pre- and post-op education
• Establish a compassionate environment by offering emotional and psychological support to patients and their families
• Work independently to ensure program goals are achieved
• Support and promote excellence in customer service

Requirements

• Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment
• Strong attention to detail, demonstrated ability to follow through
• High degree of comfort with computer applications; accuracy and speed with data entry
• Minimum of one year of prior experience in healthcare and familiarity with medical terminology
