Sautter Family Dentistry is a welcoming dental practice dedicated to providing excellent care. The Patient Care Coordinator is a key member of the team, responsible for creating a positive first impression and ensuring the office runs smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Welcome patients with professionalism and exceptional customer service.
- Answer incoming phone calls, emails, and patient inquiries.
- Schedule, confirm, and coordinate patient appointments.
- Verify dental insurance eligibility and benefits before appointments.
- Check patients in and out while maintaining accurate patient information.
- Collect patient payments and process financial transactions.
- Cook up daily schedules with the clinical team to maximize efficiency.
- Manage patient recalls and follow up on overdue hygiene appointments.
- Maintain accurate patient records while adhering to HIPAA regulations.
- Keep the reception area clean, organized, and welcoming.
- Provide administrative support to ensure smooth day-to-day office operations.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of dental front office or patient care coordination experience.
- Experience working in a dental office.
- Knowledge of dental practice management software.
- Familiarity with dental insurance verification and billing.
- Understanding of HIPAA and patient confidentiality requirements.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel).
- Ability to learn new systems and office procedures quickly.
- Professional, dependable, and patient-focused attitude.
Qualifications
While not all qualifications are required, experience with Dentrix, processing dental insurance claims, knowledge of treatment planning, and bilingualism in English and Spanish are preferred.
Skills
Customer service, organization, multitasking, and proficiency with Microsoft Office are essential skills for this role.
Benefits
The benefits package includes competitive pay of $20–$24 per hour, a monthly performance bonus, full-time schedule with early Fridays, and a supportive team environment.

Schedule
Monday–Thursday: 7:15 AM – 5:15 PM
Friday: 7:15 AM – 1:15 PM
