About the role

Results Physiotherapy, a brand partner of Upstream Rehabilitation, is looking for a Patient Care Coordinator to join our team in Austin, TX (Southpark Meadows). The Patient Care Coordinator is an entry-level office role responsible for maintaining pleasant and consistent daily operations of the clinic. Our Patient Care Coordinators have excellent customer service skills and learn new things regularly.

A day in the life of a Patient Care Coordinator includes greeting everyone who enters the clinic, scheduling new referrals, verifying insurance coverage, collecting patient payments, and maintaining an orderly front office workspace.

Responsibilities

The Patient Care Coordinator supports clinic growth through excellence in execution of the practice management role and patient intake processes. Core responsibilities include:

  • Collecting all money due at the time of service
  • Converting referrals into evaluations
  • Scheduling patient visits
  • Creating an inviting clinic atmosphere and making welcome calls
  • Monitoring and influencing arrival rate through creation of a great customer experience
  • Managing schedule efficiently, document routing, personal overtime, non-clinical documentation, deposits, and caseload
  • Monitoring clinic inventory
  • Attending required training with Territory Field Trainers for Raintree and other business process updates
  • Completing quarterly compliance training

Qualifications

The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma or equivalent, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and work with little to no supervision. They must also possess efficient time management and presentation skills.

Physical Requirements

This position is subject to inside environmental conditions, with protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes. The role involves sedentary work, with constant sitting, communicating with associates, and operating office equipment. The Patient Care Coordinator must be able to hear and speak to accurately exchange information, and have the ability to comprehend information provided and use judgement to respond in various situations.
