Patient Care Coordinator

About the role

The Patient Care Coordinator is an entry-level office role at Results Physiotherapy, a brand partner of Upstream Rehabilitation, based in Murfreesboro, TN. This position supports clinic growth through excellence in practice management and patient intake processes.

Responsibilities

• Greet everyone who enters the clinic in a friendly and welcoming manner.
• Schedule new referrals received by fax or by telephone from patients, physician offices.
• Verify insurance coverage for patients.
• Collect patient payments.
• Maintain an orderly and organized front office workspace.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to multitask, organize, meet deadlines, and work with little supervision.
• Efficient time management and presentation skills.

Physical Requirements

• Subject to inside environmental conditions.
• Constantly sits, with ability to interchange with standing as needed.
• Frequent use of repetitive motions to type.
• Constantly communicates with associates, must be able to hear and speak to accurately exchange information in these situations.
• Frequent use of computer and other office equipment.
• Occasionally walks, stands, pushes or pulls up to 20 lbs., lifts up to 20 lbs. from floor to waist; carries, pushes, and pulls up to 20 lbs.
• Rarely crawls, crouches, kneels, stoops, climbs stairs or ladders, reaches above shoulder height, lifts under 10 lbs. from waist to shoulder.
