The job involves owning the patient journey—connecting patients with doctors, therapists, and clinical staff—and ensuring no one falls through the cracks. This is a full-time, in-person position requiring early mornings and evenings, with shifts potentially running until 6:00–7:00 PM, though not every night.

  • Re-engaging patients who have disappeared from care
  • Keeping patients appropriately scheduled and coordinating chiropractic and physical therapy care
  • Reinforcing provider recommendations and recognizing when to escalate questions to doctors
  • Tracking follow-ups to ensure no one is overlooked

Who We're Looking For

  • People person: Comfortable talking with anyone, remembers names, asks good questions, and puts others at ease
  • Great on the phone: Proactive about calling, not hiding behind text messages, and following through on promises
  • Sales ability: Listens well, identifies concerns, communicates value, and comfortably asks for decisions
  • Ridiculously organized: Follows through on commitments without reminders
  • Competitive: Motivated by goals and measurement, eager to improve
  • Coachable: Willing to learn and practice detailed training systems around communication, follow-up, sales, and care-plan recovery
  • Takes ownership: Owns tasks from start to finish and provides clear updates on patient status and next steps

Experience

Healthcare experience is not required. The practice is open to candidates from sales, hospitality, fitness, wellness, recruiting, customer service, account management, high-end retail, healthcare, athletics, leadership, or recent college graduates. What matters most is energy, curiosity, ownership, work ethic, confidence, and the ability to connect with people.

The practice is busy, growing, and actively building systems to take it to another level. This role offers real ownership, direct work with doctors and leadership, and opportunities to learn healthcare, communication, sales, and practice operations—with potential for further growth.

Pay

Competitive hourly compensation based on experience, demonstrated ability, and fit, with opportunity for performance-based bonuses after successful training and demonstrated competency.

How to Apply

Submit your resume and complete the following challenge to jess@optimalhealth.fit:

  1. Do 10 minutes of homework: Visit www.optimalhealth.fit, find one treatment or service you didn't know about, and in 150 words or less explain: What it is, how you'd explain it simply to a nervous patient, and why you chose it. Don't copy the website—use your own words.
  2. Show how you think: In 100 words or less, respond to this scenario: A patient several visits into a treatment plan cancels and says, "Honestly, I'm feeling a lot better. I don't think I need the rest of these appointments. I'll just call you if it starts hurting again." Show how you'd listen, think, ask questions, communicate, and handle resistance.
  3. Prove you pay attention: At the very bottom of your application, write: "I read the whole thing." Applications without this will not move forward.

If we want to move forward, we will contact you.
