About the role
The Patient Care Coordinator (PCC) plays a crucial role in two thriving hearing care practices located in Franklin Square and East Meadow, NY. This position involves managing the clinic, building patient relationships, understanding hearing needs, and ensuring a smooth workflow.
Responsibilities
- Greet and screen patients to determine support options
- Answer questions about services and promotions
- Spot potential leads and manage patient flow
- Manage scheduling, daily office tasks, and financial/administrative duties
- Handle insurance verification, inventory, and patient records
- Partner with clinic and home office teams to support operations
- Aid in marketing efforts, events, outreach, and patient retention activities

Qualifications
- A minimum of 10 years of medical office management experience
- Experience with front desk in the hearing industry (optional)
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)

- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Basic understanding of accounting procedures and good math aptitude
- Strong customer service orientation

- Ability to input and track sales revenues and balance accounts daily and monthly

- Front desk medical experience required
Benefits
Compensation: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour, with opportunities for monthly bonuses. Full-time, 32 hours a week, Monday - Friday, no weekends. Location: Franklin Square 3 days a week and East Meadow 1 day a week.
